Program Service Dogs
Individually sourced and temperament tested prospects selected with their applicant's preferences, lifestyle and task needs in mind. These dogs are loved on alongside our own personal dogs during their time learning, growing and training with us. Socialized and desensitized thoroughly to assure comfort and confidence working in public access. Learning cooperative care for grooming including bath, force dryer, nails, ear and mouth cleaning, shears and clippers as well as gear such as harnesses & vests, boots, Rex Specs and more. Earning their CGC, CGCA and CGCU. Task trained to mitigate their handler's disability specifically. Just as we believe training is not "one size fits all", neither are service dogs. We pride ourselves in matching handlers with a dog that is a perfect fit for them in both personality and customized training.
Board&Train
In duration of four ($3,500) or six ($5,000) weeks, your dog stays with us and is loved on alongside our own dogs with safe, certified and insured boarding while they learn the contents of AKC's Canine Good Citizen (CGC). This includes Accepting a Friendly Stranger, Sitting Politely For Petting, Appearance and Grooming, Out For a Walk (Walking Loose Lead), Walking Through a Crowd, Sit and Down on Cue and Stay in Place, Coming When Called, Reaction to Another Dog, Reaction to Distraction and Supervised Separation. Updates and progress reports are sent to you periodically and videos are taken to refer back to even after our transfer session with you so that training may be easily upkept at home. Dogs who have completed a Board&Train with us become eligible for Boarding with us. Board&Train to cover CGCA, CGCU, or Service Dog Tasks are available after a dog has completed a Board&Train covering the CGC.

Group Class
Here at Indigo Canines Co. we host a variety of group classes. Each Group Class is over a duration of six weeks and generally cover Basic or Advanced Obedience, or Service Dog Tasks. Some are breed or age specific, some are not. All group classes are capped at 8-12 attendees, depending on how many instructors are available for the class. Our top priority is to assure we have a reasonable ratio of instructors to training teams to assure everyone is receiving adequate assistance, attention and support during their time in the class. Our goal with group classes is always for each and every team to succeed! Group classes and their themes are announced via our Facebook and Instagram pages.
Urban Pack Walks
Work on public access skills with your service dog in training such as navigating shops or settling in a restaurant during lunch with other handlers. This is a great opportunity to practice behavior around other dogs in appropriate settings. Groups are limited to a reasonable number of teams for the places visited during the outing and each team is vetted by ICC professionals to assure no setbacks in one team's journey due to ill behavior from other dogs such as aggression, unfit reactivity etc. Learn to advocate for your dog and the two of you as a team as well as working on public access skills under the guidance of our certified instructors. Our urban pack walk schedules and locations are shared on our Facebook and Instagram pages.

Pack Walks
Pack walks are a great way to appropriately socialize your dog as well as let them make new friends or have a fun time with existing ones. Your team can be as structured or as relaxed as you like while everyone enjoys nature together in a safe group with instructor supervision. Our pack walk schedules and locations are shared on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
